Inquirers Group

Persons interested in the Christian faith and who may be considering adult baptism or confirmation are invited to leave their names with the church secretary at 905-727-1935 or by email.

Those interested in transferring their membership to Aurora United Church are invited to contact the church office at 905-727-1935 or by email.

Adult Confirmation

Once a year classes are offered for those who wish to be baptised, those who are baptised but not confirmed, or those who are already baptised

Membership Transfer

Special services are held twice a year, spring and fall, to welcome new members by transfer of membership from other Churches.

Baptism

Every month.

In the United Church of Canada Baptism is a Sacrament. A Sacrament is a sacred action. Our actions symbolize “God with us” for our words are not enough to describe the experience.

When a child is born to us we turn in gratefulness to God, the source of all life for the blessing of the child. We look for guidance and strength to raise the child. We believe that these strong feelings often encourage us to seek the church to honour our child.
