The role of the Ministry and Personnel Committee is determined by The Manual of The United Church of Canada. The duties of the committee include:

• Providing a consultative and supportive agency for the staff and members of the congregation

• Reviewing working conditions and remuneration for the staff

• Overseeing the relationship of the staff to the members of the congregation

• Overseeing the relationship between and among different members of the staff

• Reviewing and evaluating annually the effectiveness of the staff
