As a response to the Mosque shootings in New Zealand - the congregations of Trinity Anglican and Aurora United placed a "love banner" -  on AUC's Yonge Street fence - a message to our community of our support for our Muslim friends. The banner has been removed due to vandalism.

Here is a message from Mae Khamissa, a friend and leader within the Muslim community in Aurora:

Thank you Aurora United and Trinity Anglican congregations. Not only are we fortunate to live in an incredible town like Aurora, but blessed to have neighbours who show so much love and support.

We continue to offer our prayers for the rabbi and members of the synagogue - Chabad of Poway in California and for the priests and members of the Shrine of St. Anthony and St. Sebastien's Church in Sri Lanka.
