Telling Our Story
As the 200th Anniversary of the founding of our church approaches we are collecting stories from members of the congregation who have been fundamental in creating programs, events and special missions over the past 50 years. Do you have a story to tell? Many individuals have already agreed to take part in this initiative allowing us to bring the 150th Anniversary Book (published 1968) up to date. But – we don't want to miss anything! If you have a story to tell please contact either Mary Smith firstname.lastname@example.org or Helen Roberts email@example.com for further information on how to participate in this exciting program
Cobs Cards Coming Back Don’t Miss Out!
It’s back! Cobs Bread, maker of delicious breads & pastries is once again supporting AUC by providing cards which you can purchase for $20 from the Aurora UCW! The cards have a value of $50 worth of merchandise from either the Aurora store or the Cobs store at Upper Canada Mall.
Each card specifies 8 items which you will receive for free (with purchase of a card - one item per visit). The items include various types of bread, cinnamon rolls, cinnamon bread, scones & a large ‘sweet’ (pastry).
Please consider buying one or more of these cards not just for yourself but perhaps as a treat for a neighbour, a friend or a relative. A purchase of a Cobs Card wins twice - the purchaser receives delicious baked goods & our UCW receives a donation which will go towards our new church building.
Cards will be on sale after church every Sunday or through members of the UCW Executive. Questions or more information - call Helen Roberts 905-713-1597
WANTED! Annual Reports prior to 1990 We are trying to reestablish our collection of Annual Reports. If you have any of these early reports which you are willing to donate please drop them off at the church office c/o Helen Roberts or email firstname.lastname@example.org for alternate arrangements.
