Our responsibilities are to:

• maintain all church property and to establish a long-range capital plan for improvement and maintenance

• supervise use of church property and equipment, including security

• have responsibility for archives

Welcome to the Administration Committee. As our mission statement says, the purpose of this committee is “to administer the  operations and maintain the property of the church on a day to day basis, and to provide places for worship, education and meetings for church community purposes that are comfortable, safe and secure.”

Working with the church’s custodian, this dedicated group of volunteers regularly schedule work bees to accomplish minor maintenance activities that are not part of the everyday routine (painting, yard work etc.). As the old saying goes “many hands make less work” – everyone is encouraged to help out at these “bees.” They are a great way to meet people and feel good about your accomplishments.

If there are other maintenance activities that cannot be completed during a work bee (major repairs, renovations etc.) then Administration will seek out the most cost-effective manner to get them done.

As you have probably assumed, Administration is responsible for making the church “work” – inside and out.
