Worship & Music
Its responsibilities are to:
-
oversee with the ordained ministers the order of
public worship including music, and ushers
-
arrange for study of, and experimentation in,
worship
-
recommend to Council policy about, and oversee,
baptism and communion
-
arrange for special services, speakers and pulpit
supply
-
oversee the use and decoration of the Sanctuary;
this will normally be done through the Sanctuary Visual Arts
Committee, who will report regularly to the Worship Committee
- nCelebration
and reflection on the seasons of the Christian year, using themes and a
variety of integrated worship elements
- nEncouraging
Congregational involvement in planning for diverse and meaningful services
as well as reflecting back on our shared worship experiences
- nContinued
support and development of the Musical Kool Kids
