3rd Aurora Scouts

The 3rd Aurora Scout Group looks forward to the start of our 64th Scouting Fall in partnership with the Aurora United Church, with our Fall sessions of Beavers (ages 5-7) and Cubs (ages 8-10) programing starting back up this coming October. Meeting Thursday nights at our temporary home, St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School, off Murray Dr.  

In recent years Scouts Canada has shifted to a calendar-based (January-December) registration year, with registration for new members expected to open in mid-September for the 2023 Scouting year.   Additional Scouters needed and welcome! The group’s capacity for youth membership and quality programming is directly based on the number of registered volunteer Scouters available to assist, even on a part time basis.

Adults interested in joining 3rd Aurora’s Scouter team are invited to contact Kyle Munro, Group Commissioner, at scouterkyle@hotmail.com for more information. The children of registered Scouters also skip to the front of the line of registration, avoiding the disappointment of waiting lists, and may have the opportunity to start early with the group in Fall 2022.
