Easter is a time of reflection, renewal, challenge and hope, both as individuals, and as local communities of faith, in Canada and around the world. Our neighbourhoods, families, and communities of faith have faced incredible challenges this past year in our local communities and around the world, including many unhoused people locally and globally, crisis and war in the Middle East, Ukraine, Africa, to name a few. We have seen the best side of society and the worst side of society, with racism and inequality, as well as great sacrifice and expressions of deep love, care, grace and acts of Faith.
As we transition to Spring, we enter a season of rebirth and the hope of Easter. As we reflect on Good Friday and celebrate Easter this year, may you experience God’s grace and love.
This weekend we Celebrate Resurrection! CHRIST HAS RISEN!
