Centennial Celebrations Committee Begins Work

The 100th anniversary of the Union of The United Church of Canada is June 10, 2025, a time to reflect on how expressing our faith has impacted the world, our communities, and our personal lives. Although it is difficult to look at the history of the church and the many legacies of harm that continue today, it is still important that we celebrate milestones, progress in healing, and the spirituality that sustains us.

The Centennial Celebrations Committee will design and identify opportunities for celebration up to 2025, inviting ideas and participation from the church. A central communications portal will be established on the website, allowing for feedback from communities and stakeholders on Centennial commemorations. Read the full news story.
